Interesting. My guy who coached with Johnny tells me as of 2 pm this afternoon LSU's staff was positive they were getting Pollard...

"Yes. We are supposed to get Pollard. Unless there is a f*ck up that I don't know about. Which is possible."

Then he picks Bama, and so I tell him...

"Well, something must have gone wrong. Pollard went to Alabama."

And his response was...

"Very wrong. I can't tell you right now. But its big."

So there's that.

Well I hope you are right.

Alabama is close to where he grew up. They have a good program.
And Tuscaloosa has a by-pass and Baton Rouge doesn't.

I don't think it matters. We know nothing will ever happen to Alabama regardless of what they do. We also know this is college basketball and for a wild recruitment like this you can expect an interesting story or two.

But it's interesting, since he's getting this stuff from the coaching staff, that he's saying "it's big." Sounds like they saw something they thought was over the top.

Who knows?

It really doesn't matter. The LSU basketball program is coming back on the map.

I agree with you cowboy. Johnnie is working hard. Also he has made a hell of a staff they will succeed in the future. Just wait till he has a whole year under his belt. It's going be be fun times again in the PMAC.

I'm not mad. I'm encouraged by the work put in. Worlds apart from Trent and his band of crappy recruiters

Oh well this happens when you get in late. Didn't expect it, was just hoping for it.

Next year is going to be unbelievable for us though.

No, Saban is more of a baseball guy than a basketball guy as his #2 sport--LOL! But it is pretty fun to blame him for things like this.

Not here to troll or flame, but when will you ppl learn with your so-called "sources"? They always point the finger towards $$$ if the kid didn't choose your school. It's sad and pathetic. It's obvious they hype up his recruitment in your favor for subscriptions.

Thank you. Both programs are very good and each school will continue to get good players.
