Really impressed with him and he really articulates how his approach translates to exceptional food. I really enjoy his simple straightforward take on country food, done with fresh ingredients dictated by the seasons. I wish more restaurants in LA took this approach.

grew up with and hung out with some of his family in my younger years. Got my hunting roots with those boys. We'd go run some traps catch us about a sack, hit the woods throw out some tents and have a blast.
