More YACK Questions.

I'm a pretty good sized dude at 6-3, 225lbs....
1) Are yacks really made for smaller people or should I able to find something that accommodates a larger dude?
2) Im assuming that the bigger the yack the better for a big guy but is there a general rule of thumb for yack size (length x width) based on your size?
One more set of questions.....
I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Im thinking that in a few years I'd probably like to take 1 of them out with me every once in a while for a "yack'n day with dad" (I can't imagine attempting to take both in a yack with me at 1 time) so.....
3) I'm assuming that if I plan ahead and buy a 2 seat yack that I can still use it by myself right?
4) A 2 seat yack won't be too large and awkward for 1 person to operate will it?
Just to be clear...I only plan on fishing some of the hundreds of small lakes in central FL, not doing any high speed river yack'n or aggressive stuff.
TYI for sharing any productive thoughts.

There are some 2 man kayaks that meet your needs on the market, but I suggest you look closer at a 2 man canoe. Your biggest concern is how you are going to transport the boat i.e. car top, truckbed or trailer. Get the lightest weight boat you can afford that still has your space requirements.

Ive put me and my girlfriend(no pics) in it before and fished for an hour our so. shes 5'0 95-100 lbs. it wasn't easy but it could certainly be done with a small child

My 12 foot yak holds 400 pounds and a kid or dog with ease. Shouldn't be an issue. Also, I have one where you can easily insert and remove a second seat when possible.

Look into the Native Ultimates. Can be changed from one person to two person. Very stabe, a ton of room.
Pretty sweet ride. Thanks for the advice.

60 pounds; I carry it from truck to water with ease. No trailer or dolly/cart needed.

Can one legally drink and paddle a yack?

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

I like the Native Ultimate tandems, good looking boat and can be adjusted for a solo paddle.
