I see people fishing it often but never hear of great catches though. Most of the time I pass through there I just see people with jugs or noodles out.

I live near the tickfaw natalbany complex. The most difficult area of water I have ever wet a hook. Wrong wind...screwed. Wrong tide...screwed. Wrong whatever..well...u get the idea. Best time to go is after a mild cold front. All the drains flow out. Bingo. That and jan feb is good. Then all the bass disappear for the next ten months....

Thanks for the info.
We fished pretty hard from 6:45-11:45 and only caught two bass...the water wasn't moving and it was pretty muddy until we moved further south.
had one strike at and miss my spinnerbait over some pads. The other two were caught on brush hogs.

Might try again next winter!

ETA: how is the Blood, Amite, Bedico, Tchefuncte, Tangi? about the same?
