The biggest buckshot I could find was #2 can someone explain why there is no 0 or 00. Hog hunting this morning and I wanted my son to shoot his 20 gauge with buckshot but I couldn't find any. He did kill his first hog but it was cause the dogs caught it and he cut his throat.

I think I was 10-12 years old then. I forget who made the shells. I want to say Remington.

They do make 00 for 20 ga.
I have a 20ga wingmaster that I need to have it fixed. I broke it over the back of one of my dogs many years ago. The piece that is welded in the reciver that the bolt that goes thru the stock broke loose. Great little gun for treerat hunting or bunnies.

I found the #2 in an old farm store no telling how old they are. I don't know about the little rambo cause it was only about 30 pounds and I held it for him. Has anybody got an explanation why more manufacturers don't make larger buckshot?

I looked in my gun cabinet and that is the biggest I had. And I know its from Academy. Probably was the biggest they had.
I've go to run to Cabela's this week in Gonzales. I'll report back what they have
