Met his dad this week and he was saying the recruitment of his did not go well with Menairie.

He is one helluva player from Evangel in Shreveport. I don't know his stats, but was very surprised LSU did not recruit him. He was mister everything on their state championship teams last year and the year before.
Vanderbilt signed him, so I guess we will see him this weekend. I hope he doesn't kick our arse!

Not LSU material...what is LSU material? He got 82% of scholarship paid by Vanderbilt. He was an all-american and he is a Louisiana boy. Apparently, bats DH for Vandy.
I will be looking for him this weekend.

The kid could definitely swing it in HS. But, he really doesn't have a position. Who knows he may turn into the next Blake Dean.

I'm confused? If you discussed his recruitment by Maineri with his dad it sounds like we went after him. Just curious where would he fit on this team? You do realize LSU cannot recruit and sign every kid from the state that is college material. Cracks me up every time we play a team that has a La kid in the starting lineup someone wants to know why we didn't sign the kid and usually assumes LSU just didn't recruit him and missed on the next great superstar.
