J Alex's is pretty spot on, I agree. Just trying to switch it up some, because I eat there every week. Love the shoestring fries as an accompaniment.

The best thing about J. Alexander's is that you get a big ol actual slab of prime rib, it's not the easiest thing to eat, but you get some legit meat.

I used to love, and swear by the Sammy's prime rib sandwich, but now it's hit or miss...sometimes fatty, sometimes thin on meat. When it's on, it's slammin though.

If you like a little bit chefier, pressed version, they have a decent one at The Breadbox on Essen.
