didn't they draft 2 backs last year and don't they already have Woodhead and the Law firm?

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the roster. He's been running on fumes for a few years now and is constantly injured

He's not very good and hasn't been for awhile now.

Even if he stays healthy (which his history suggests) hes fighting the system and roster setup as well. With the competition at WR (11 WRs with about 9 pf them are veterans) and the actual use of fullbacks in Josh McDs system (Pats have signed two FBs already) theirs not enough roster spots to hold another RB unless someone on the current roster gets hurt
His best chance of making the roster is in a 07-08 Sammie Morris type role that plays a little FB and tailback as well

The problem with that theory is the only reason Faulk played/was on the roster as much as he was last year was because Vereen was injured all season
