| Ron Paul could win Michigan tomorrow night (Posted on 5/2/12 at 10:41 pm)
They're county conventions to elect the delegates to the state convention later in the month are being held tomorrow night. Santorum's 14 committed delegates are now uncommitted so Paul is, in all likelihood, going to steal Romney's home state.

That would be huge, but I won't hold my breath. I was happy to help him win Louisiana, though.

I'd honestly be surprised if he didn't dominate Michigan after what happened last weekend in Massachusetts.

It appears the 16 Paulites selected in Mass won't be able to help him unless Romney is denied a first ballot win at the Convention. That must be the primary goal (pun not intended). Will Paul's supporters have a chance to change party rules to unbound the delegates from the Mass primary or do they not have a strong enough majority or are the Mass GOP party rules not permit this?

No shot this happens in Mass. The Paul contingent is nowhere near strong enough there.

In Texas, .52% (or some hundredth decimal place similar to that) = 1 delegate. In California, delegates are awarded by Congressional District. In total, over 300 delegates are awarded. The Paul supporters are hoping to take over the Texas State Convention though.
