The field is great with Tiger, Phil, Westwood, and Rory, but I'm actually a little surprised at some of the names that aren't playing. No Donald, Stricker, or Els. I guess they are resting the week before THE PLAYERS.
This tourney is always one of the best regular stops of the year, so I expect no less this week.

Should be a great week of golf
I'm interested to see how Tiger and Rory play considering its their first competitive rounds since they both played terrible at Augusta

My thoughts are Patrick Reed makes another cut. Dude is 2 for 2 on PGA and I think 2 for 2 on Nationwide. Made 81K already on PGA.

Says he is from San Antonio, goes to Augusta State.

He isn't from BR, but his family did live here during most of his high school years. I believe he went to U high for a little bit. I think he was also home schooled for a few years. I'm not positive though.

Went to high school at UHigh where they won 2 state titles and he won one individual. Lives in Houston now, not sure why they have San Antonio. Went to Georgia had some troubles and then went to Augusta State. He is -4 thru 9.

Rickie Fowler with a -6 to tie for the early lead.
Phil had a triple bogey but still shot -1.
