Was Hood originally looking to transfer to Georgetown?

Would the transfer need to sit out a year?

only time will tell....but one thing is certain, JoJo is making the kind of hires that will make LSU a team to be reckoned with. sooner....than later. louisiana, new orleans, houston, DFW, memphis, mississipi and now ne 95 corridor. this is getting good.

If the speculations and rumors of Pollard and Hood are true than the master plan of hiring Robert Kirby to LSU is a good start of the magic returning to the LSU Basketball program.
Works for me!
I recall JJ as a player throwing a bounce pass from bout 10 ft past his FT line and hitting a LSU F at the other team's FT line for a fast break dunk!
Seems JJ is still leading the fast break for the Tigers or at least trying to.

Kirby, Hood & Pollard?
I don't know how legit this is, but with very few exceptions, I would take Hood over almost any 2012 recruit.

It is speculated that Mississippi State 2011 four-star signee, 6-foot-8 forward Rodney Hood, will be coming to Baton Rouge along with Kirby. Many speculate Kirby has a close relationship with the already-proven SEC commodity.

I didn't think Hood was allowed to transfer to an SEC school. I thought that was a stipulation in getting his release from MSU.

Man, that article sounds good to me.

I thought that was Josh Gray?

Gray was released out of his LOI and can't sign with an SEC school, and I thought Hood was also barred from transferring to an SEC school.

I heard that as well, but not for sure.

Looks like Josh Gray may end up at Texas Tech. If that's the case, he should have stayed with State. I guess he's still making bad decisions.

There has to be some reason all everybody is leaving Miss St

Yeah, they hired an assistant coach no one has heard of to be their head coach.
That'll do it.
That'll do it.
