What is it with that? In my opinion, she is easily the most talented artist/musician of the Hilary Duff/Miley Cyrus era of tween music. She is genuine, her personality is very bubbly and cute, and she writes her own material which is more than can be said for other, more famous pop artists like Beyonce. While she isn't the greatest singer of all time you also have to admit neither were The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and other famous artists from the 20th Century. While I know most, if not all of you people will contend that she isn't in the same league of song writing ability as those aforementioned, I still contend that a lot of her songs are catchy and solid. They're not going to be on any all-time great lists but they're still solid. She's also surprising good and charismatic live on stage and can whip almost any crowd into a frenzy with what she says and does on stage.

So, yeah, I've just never gotten all the hate for Taylor Swift. She's one of the better pop artists of this generation who just so happens to cater to a younger audience. There's nothing wrong with that.

uh those guys were pretty damn good singers

and yeah, Taylor Swift writes her own music but it doesn't take a once in a lifetime poet to write songs that make 14 year old girls cry.

She's a diva. Know someone who worked as an assistant for her and she is a complete bitch when the cameras aren't on her.

That said she is talented but I can see why people don't like her.

I have heard the exact opposite. My cousin has a friend who worked for her on a tour of hers a year or two ago and all I heard were great things. He turned 31 while they were touring and Taylor Swift found out about it. She threw him a surprise birthday party after one of her concerts. I'm sure Taylor Swift can be a bit bitchy but, as the previous poster said above, what woman CAN'T be bitchy?

Of the four, Paul McCartney was really the only one who had any kind of vocal range. I love Lennon to death but his singing voice wasn't the greatest of all-time and neither was Harrison's. And Ringo Starr? All you have to do is listen to Yellow Submarine and With a Little Help From My Friends to know that his singing ability was lacking.

And that's not taking anything away from them. They were pretty damn good songwriters but none of them were Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury when it came to vocals.

Anyone her age has money behind them to jump start career, TS had money like no other behind her. When you can pay 60k a night to open for Kenny Chesney on tour without label support, you almost cant fail.

Alot of jelley, but she is painful live vocally

I like her personally and have also heard that she treats her people pretty well.

As far as her music,it's great that she writes but it all comes across to me like

When did she ever do that? She signed with RCA at the age of 14 and then with Big Machine Records a year later. It wasn't until she compiled her first album that she started to go on tour.

What I said is this: The Beatles weren't the greatest of vocalists. Yes, they could sing, but their vocals didn't blow anyone away.
