I don't usually come to the Soccer Board, but when I do, I see many not like the two Spanish teams.
I am long-time Barça fan, but even I must admit the LFP is a two horse race. Is this it?

Yeah, I can see that and I dislike the acting. But all clubs do it, right? And it's "part" of the game (versus slow mo reviews, challenges, in other sports)?

They do it more than the other clubs the rest of us are used to watching. Part of the game that needs to be fixed.
That plus I don't like teams that just spend astronomically on their players to win. (yankees can suck on my balls)

It maybe. But I also think that the ball possession from Barça is so high and effective that this is bound to happen. Also their players average a height of 5"7, so it's easy target.

i root for barca vs madrid
I enjoy messi and despise CR7 after how he left Man United so by default i disliked Madrid

It is jealousy. I tend to dislike whoever happens to be really good, or better than Liverpool.
I'll always root for FCB over RM though. Regardless of circumstances.

Several years back (mid 90's) everyone was a AC Milan. I think even Juventus got a big fanbase.

I'm kinda torn. I love their style of play but I'm not too big on the diving/acting. I don't watch La Liga as much as I should anyway. As much as I think I should expand from MLS/EPL, I haven't managed to do it yet.

I used to dislike EPL way back. Now I truly think it is the most competitve league.

Well, football is my favorite sport and most of the MLS season does not conflict with football season. Same with EPL. There is usually only one match per week that conflicts with the early college football games. Too many big La Liga matches are starting at 2 or 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during football season. That's not good for me.
