Been outta school since last summer (11').
Going back to school this summer (12').
I did my FAFSA online for the 2011-2012 school year, and i qualified for a $800 pell grant, and $12k in loans.
Summer school starts in June
If I accept the pell grant, and accept (x) amount in student loans, will it affect in any way me recieving grants and loans for the upcoming fall/spring (12'-13') semester?
i dont wanna shoot myself in the foot now, and wont be able to pay for school in the fall/spring

It never affected me. I used summer loans for three summers..

It shouldn't, the summer is Seperarate from the normal school year in terms of financial aid. Like at ole miss you can only get financial aid if you are taking over 6 hours of summer school.

I wouldn't think it has any effect because the academic year ends when the summer semester ends. So in the fall you "start over" with a new academic year that is treated separately as far as what you qualify for.
That was my understanding of how it worked.

Im pretty sure my aid went from summer through spring. So the maximum loan amounts and pell grant was split between summer fall and spring. The summer amounts I received were half the fall and spring amounts.

This fall will be my last semester. Can I get all of the pell grant money for just one semester?

I think you will get whatever you would normally get for one semester. You can't get a year's worth of grants if you aren't taking a year's worth of school.
