I dont trust anyone in radio for sources right now, been a wild goose chase with all the speculation from these guys, i.e. Scona, I am a huge CH fan.

Been out for awhile today. Some have even said we've offered him, but that could be mularky.
I liked Tubby....10 years ago. He tried to clean up the Kentucky program and their fans never could accept that. They have no interest in that.
But he's 60 now. I know everyone is saying no one will please us, but that's enough for me right there.

I don't think Tubby is the right fit for LSU...I think LSU needs a younger coach that will energize the fanbase.
But anyone that claims Tubby isn't a good coach doesn't know WTF they're talking about. Tubby is a very good coach and has a very good resume. He didn't get a fair shake at UK IMO.

Tubby is very "Van Chancellor"-esque IMO.
Good coach, solid resume, past his prime.
We could do a lot worse than Tubby Smith, for sure, but IMO I'd rather gamble on a younger guy than go with Smith.
