The fact that Mitt Romney's wealth is even a factor in this campaign goes to show the effects that liberal indoctrination has on our society. To them, wealth=evil, rich man=evil.

It really just goes to show how lock-stop the media is with Obama when this is the type of stuff they spend time discussing in the face of a 15 trillion dollar deficit, no budgets passed, etc.
CNN is just awful. Trayvon or Romney's success are the top stories.

all these guys are in the top 0.5 % for some reason they freak out that Romney is top 0.1% I don't get it

Wealth is an extremely powerful thing in America. Democrats appeal to most of their voters, mostly college students and poorer folks, by trying to say that the wealthy people are the cause of poverty.

People who think really wealthy people get that way because they all work hard are just as foolish as those who think poor people are just poor because of a bad luck

Most wealthy people I know work their arse off...long work hours, time away from family, lots of stress, etc

I must be a fool too, I don't think poor people are poor because of bad luck but because of the opposite of hard work, which is laziness. There may not be a direct coorelation between wealth and hard work, but I do know there is a coorelation between libs and the stupids. I've had a friend criticize me for how much I make and act like I've got it all cushy. Maybe I do, but I worked my arse off when I was younger and I do what I do well now, it didn't just happen, and it wasn't given to me by the collective.

wait.. that comparison really misses on the common point. You are saying wealthy people are not wealthy because of hard work, leaving it to chance and luck?. but you say it's foolish to think poor people are poor because of bad luck.

Indeed. I miss the days when individual success was celebrated. Greed and jealousy are enslaving. My favorite quote of all time:

If Romney's wealth is disqualifying, does that mean a failed welfare recieptent is now a presidential material? Why would any society strive to elevate failure?
I think the whole value assignment to wealth is abhorant. Wealth is moral neutral. There is no virtue in being poor (nor rich). There is no shame in being poor (nor rich).
