Snakehead.. Maryland has a bounty program worth $200/fish that you kill.

That is one a the biggest nuicences to ever touch the planet. They have pretty much taken over up there. They eat fricking everything and repopulate faster than fricking hogs.

At $200 a fish, you could do quite well for yourself for a day of work if they'll hit anything.

no way it's 200$ a fish, the way I've heard it they'll bite anything, you could buy a new truck in just a weekend

if they will eat anything, and they are carnivores, hmmmm i wonder if they can be caught i.e. lobster/ crab style. OFC using a bigger cage designed for that fish. I need to get on that.

The fish are hardy enough to survive up to four days on land, and can migrate up to a quarter mile between bodies of water by wriggling on their fins. National Geographic has dubbed the snakehead "fishzilla," and it is also frequently referred to as the "fish from hell." They can grow to more than 2 feet long and have been found in at least seven states. Read more: LINK

The way I read the bounty system was that you catch a fish, register it with local wl&f website, and at the end of the season they do a raffle for a $200 Bass Pro card and other gifts.

At least that is how I read it on Fox news.

I posted about them in the ugliest/scariest fish thread. It's probably not $200 gc per fish. Still would be fun to catch them
