ESPN names Smith, Fujita and Vilma as suspension candidates

Adam Schefter claims that the NFL will only suspend defensive "leaders" and captains, and not all of the group of 22-27. Specifically named Smith, Fujita and Vilma as those likely to be suspended. Smith?!? I don't ever recall him even being flagged for a late hit.

I'm talking about Vilma. Vilma is most likely suspended, and we don't have another MLB on the roster as far as I know.

He's saying the suspension for Vilma will be lengthy, meaning we need a reliable backup for Lofton.

We looked ok at lb, with the recent signings, until Dunbar signed with the Rams. Gotta believe Vilma is likely to get the 1 yr suspension. If so, the Saints need lb help.
