Goodell said sean payton will not be allowed 2 "coach from home" during #saints suspension. Said "reasonable contact" w/team will b allowed

I assume he means Payton can speak to members of the organization about non-football things.

IMO this sounds like "I crushed SP and the Saints so the league looks tough on player safety, but when the media uncovers the bound to happen Payton talks to Drew/Carmichael/Loomis/etc I'm not going to take further action"
ETA where is this from? I've not seen the reasonable contact quote

It's a trap. Goodell's going to precisely define the parameters of what can be discussed. He will tap paytons phones, and the second Payton slips up one bit, boom, gone another year. I'm kidding...but...I wouldnt put it past him.

I assume he likes more things in life than just football, and he's close friends with some people in the organization. I don't know what he's into. Maybe he'll want to talk to brees about the new Justin beiber cd

No , i think you are wrong. If he was talking to anyone associated with the team , the conversation would end up being football .

I assume he assumes Payton will assume that he is a jackass and Payton will be in contact with the team a lot this coming year and he wont do shite about it.
