Was it Ouachita or WM? The HR Derby was at WM Friday and I was guessing WMs new coach came from St Louis Catholic who was also in the tourney.
As far as the brawl, maybe someone took offense to the "Champion Swagga" shirts Zachary was wearing.

i'm no fan of teurlings but i'm almost positive zachary started it... they have the douchiest players and parents i've ever seen of a high school basbeall program

teurlings always seemed liked trash when we dealt with them in HS. most have a complex about STM.

From the lafayette paper today the synopsis:
Pregame zachary players went by tchs dugout and talked some smack
There was a bang bang play at 2nd and tchs felt like the zachary player took a cheap shot with the tag
Benches cleared and a fight started
A tchs parent went on the field and pulled a zhs player off of his kid and the dad got arrested
Fans were pushing and shoving outside the fence
Hilarity ensued

i remember asking a teurlings girl why she didn't choose STM only to get a class warfareish lecture.

Zachary has never had much baseball class. They would yell "you suck" during opposing pitchers windups, etc with the coach laughing right along with them. They seem to always have disproportionate numbers of punks.
