Miss St pitcher gets standing ovation from LSU fans

SIAP (I looked and didn't see it), when the starting Miss St pitcher was taken out of the game in the ninth inning Friday night LSU fans gave him a standing ovation, including the outfield bleachers. He deserved it.
It was a class act moment.

LSU baseball fans are the best in the country when things are going well. It was 1-1 at the time.

I have never been to a NCAA baseball stadium where the fans would do that. We even cheer the opposition when they make web gem plays.
It is a great atmosphere of people who love baseball. Much respect is given to the players that earn it even if they are on the other teams.

fricking lame IMO. Oh we are such good fans!!! It's a 1-1 game.
We dont cheer with in any other sport when an opposing team does good. if we are up by a good margin then fine but not in a tight game.
We also cheered when a ND player made a good catch as they were handing us our arse in the 8th inning.
