I know LSU is looking at several QBs but thought you guys would like to know that Kenny Hill has LSU in his top 3 along with Baylor and TCU.

This may happen. TCU has not actively recruited Barrett since January. Barrett is blowing up with a lot of offers recently. LSU may have a lot more competition for him than was originally thought. One example is Ohio State who Barrett is visiting. Regardless, either player would be a good QB pickup.

I know I think Meyer pitches him as being like Braxton Miller.

Could be. Urban is a tough guy to recruit against. The good news is that Ohio is a lot farther away from Texas than Louisiana.

Problem with Hill is that if TAM comes calling later, he's there's. He's a solid prospect and also a pretty good baseball player I hear.

I haven't heard anything about A&M being a player so I can't speak to that. A&M does have Kohl Stewart so I doubt they would go after him. Of course, if Stewart decided to go the MLB route I would imagine anything is possible.

I have heard Hill wants to stay close to home which is why he likes TCU and Baylor. A&M has done well so far this recruiting season but think they are about to get their first decommit of the season and it may be to TCU.

Totally false. I saw his Dad the other night and LSU is not even on his radar.

That is not consistent with what I was told. This source is in contact with a lot of high school recruits so it is possible that was hearsay from other recruits. But since you brought it up, what schools did his Dad say are on his radar? Also, to be clear, are you saying he is not considering LSU or are you saying LSU is not recruiting him?

Not being an arse but TAM already has their 1st decommit this year with Lacouture and we are in strong shape with him. Which kid are you talking about? I could figure it out if I looked but if you're willing to say then it would be easier. Thanks.

When I talked with Sr., I asked him if LSU was on Jr. and he said no. I tried to build up Krags and what he could do with his kid and Sr. looked at me like he didn't even know who he was. From what I gathered from Sr. was Baylor was a big player.

I was wondering if those of you in the Southlake area who have seen him play & keep up with Kenny Hill think there is a chance he may pursue baseball instead of football, since you mentioned he is also considered a good baseball prospect. I do recall his father was a pretty good pitcher for the Texas Rangers and maybe a few other teams.

We've offered Kenny. In fact, according to an interview he did last month, Sumlin told him he's their number 1 guy -- remember Stewart is a Sherman commit. Either way, he's been offered.

Between TexAgs and 247, we've been led to believe that we're the team to beat.
