re: Nick Saban on Clemson QB Deshaun Watson "most dominant player in CFB since Cam" - DWag215
hairs, but I think given Watson's consistently dominant presence, I'd put him slightly over Manziel's.
But Manziel was consistently dominant. How else did he become the SEC record holder for total yardage in a season? When you have two bad games over two seasons, and light up li...
Our 2013 defense doesn't hold a candle to our 2015 defense that Watson made plays against, though.
Are we really going to qualify JFF's unprecedented (literally, unprecedented) performance against the Tide because the 2013 unit wasn't as good as 2015? Come on....

re: Nick Saban on Clemson QB Deshaun Watson "most dominant player in CFB since Cam" - DWag215
Watson doesn't have to be as dominant as Manziel b/c the rest of his team is more talented.
At least you correctly identified the issue. However this thread is about which player is more dominant....
Manziel would be the only one I can think of that comes close.
Comes close? lol. Manziel actually beat Alabama. And when he didn't, he still produced more yards against the Tide than any other opposing QB in Alabama history. Yeah, close. ...

re: Who do you think is the better receiver? - DWag215
Isn't Ridley like 21? I'd take Kirk in the open field all day long. So would any other honest observer. Maybe I go Ridley if I'm looking to take the top off the defense and go deep. But am I really losing anything by taking Kirk over Ridley? What is it? ...

re: Question about Kenny Trill A&M fans - DWag215
Sumlin is a ****ing liar. Combine that with his complete lack of discipline, and it is a recipe for disaster. Sumlin has never finished better than 3rd in the division of his conference, and he never will. He will be fired after this year. He should have taken his ticket to the NFL when he ha...

re: 2016 New Orleans S Clifford Chattman - DWag215
Deshawn Capers-Smith is battling with former 5 star and UCLA transfer Priest Willis for the left corner spot. He's a good athlete but they say he lacks top end speed. Heady player, though. Appears Willis didn't warrant the hype out of high school, but he held the edge over DCS coming out of spring b...

re: 2016 New Orleans S Clifford Chattman - DWag215
If we had enough depth at LB I believe we would have signed him and in two years he would have been a very productive OLB.
We're even thinner. We can't keep trotting out these young, undersized guys at LB. Every year they just can't hold up; they invariably get injured and miss the s...

re: 2016 New Orleans S Clifford Chattman - DWag215
Thanks, Walrus. Every now and then I venture over here for some insight on the Louisiana kids we've recruited and signed. I usually wait until after signing day and the conversation is usually very productive. Helps that virtually all of our Louisiana players weren't legitimate prospects for LSU....
