The coaching is abysmal, the effort on the court is mostly uninspiring, and the fan support is basically non-existent.

There is an easy answer to this problem. Everyone knows what it is...yet, no one in charge seems to have the nuts to do the job. I hope JA steps up and does what's right, and whats needed.

I think you'll be severely disappointed in a couple months. Jump on the bandwagon to put up or shut up next year.

Yeah just change the coach. That'll fix it.

It's 2008 all over again.

I would say it mainly might have to do with the other team having better players on the court.

All I have to say about the CoachTJ is that he isn't a very motivating coach. He either needs to inspire them better or a new coach should be found.

NIT should not be our goal. Our program is suffering and has regressed below what Brady offered us. Trent's seat should be glowing with flames.

Yeah, that's the biggest problem I have with TJ as coach. That exact thing happens all the time. This is the coach's 4th year...yet Murray-fricking-State is a 6 seed in the tournament. TJ has had his shot, he has to go...hes worse than Stan Heath was at Arky. Whats the upside to keeping this loser one more year? Is there another coach that will be open next year i don't know about?

It is truly an embarrassing time to even be remotely associated with LSU right now. What I saw today was a team and fanbase that didn't shoot well, pathetic defense, and straight up didn't give a dang about the game.

I hate it when a fanbase doesn't shoot well and plays pathetic defense.

I really hope this post is in jest, because if it isn't and a majority of the fanbase feels like this we will never be a decent program again.

TJ seems like a nice guy but the team is not really getting better. Basketball doesnt need this much time to improve. He just hasnt brought in enough talent.

The fanbase doesnt care bc it's basketball. The team has to be good for anyone to care. Fans won't show up for mediocre basketball.

If that's really how you feel, I'm not sure I want you to be associated with my school.

TJ went 27-8 and got knocked out of the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney when he had some talent. Now LSU just made it to the NIT with a pretty mediocre roster.

I mean TJ coached his arse off in the SEC tourney against UK. The game would have been LSU's if it wasn't for a plethora of questionable calls, and if our 5ft 9 guards would not try and go straight up on the best shot blocker in college.

I don't think we need a new coach....we just need better talent imo.

First off, TJ coaches the same way day in and day out. Secondly, UK decided to stop sleep walking for a little while and ended up beating LSU by 9. Even if LSU had gotten every call, UK would have still won. They would have simply played a little harder. At no point in the UK game did anyone with half a brain think LSU was going to beat UK.

Are you serious?? Who do you think is responsible for getting the talent to LSU? You think all a head coach has to do is show up and coach when someone else has brought in great talent? Oh, wait, that's what happened his first year.

I think most of us know that LSU's most (only?) successful coach, Dale Brown, was successful mainly because he recruited well and motivated well. TJ does neither. The BEST he will do is mediocrity, maybe getting to NCAA once every four years or so.

We should ALL expect better than this. I hope that LSU does an excellent coaching search in the future. Frankly, it was a step back after Brady and that's saying something.

Please explain how you come up with this.....

Its amazing how many of our "fans" know so little about running a basketball program. Go ahead and change coaches every 4 years and see what that gets you.

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing about the coaches as well.
