kid played a hell of a game. Yes, the crowd was disappointing. Showed up to meet a friend outside in champions square. found him without calling. literally just looked for the other guy in LSU clothes

I was sitting in the family section. the UK fans around us were definitely getting pissed. Their traveling fanbase is littered with white trash

If there are people out there willing to make a trip for a Thursday night football game in Mississippi, then it's not THAT unrealistic for a few more fans to show up in NOLA.
I would like to see a better product myself, but this is still kinda putrid considering that this tournament is in NOLA.

I did get a "good game" from an older UK fan after we whipped Arkansas, but after that a bunch of crazy looks.

definitely. LSU wasn't even the second most represented school. Granted, I bet on Bourbon Thursday night I saw maybe 75-100 fans of the other schools combined

I'm sure many of those Kentucky fans had class and work yesterday. Instead, basketball is a priority to them and they made it one.

I don't buy this one. We have more fans in Omaha (during the week) in years when LSU does not make the CWS than we had in the New Orleans Arena yesterday. For crying out loud, if you work in NOLA you could have taken a long lunch break and caught the game.

He's a kid, I agree he's very disappointed, but they have to win more games for people to spend money on traveling to a venue like that.
