Let me just put it like this...I live in BR...i'm a huge Hornets fan. but i'm not traveling to NOLA to see that shitty arse team. i'm not going to leave work early, pay gas money to go to new orleans, pay for parking and concessions and tickets, all to see them lose.

same with this LSU team. i don't care how much they've improved over the past few seasons. the story is still the same. i'm sorry Hickey is butt hurt, but maybe they shouldn't be losing to fricking coastal carolina or whatever BS teams they lost to earlier in the season and then tank 3 of their last 4 or whatever. he has no right to call out LSU supporters.

Comparing the Hornets, a team that has been in nola for all of five years, and LSU, a program we should support no matter, are two entirely different matters. I feel absolutely no need to support the hornets because they're just a business so their support should be tied to their ability to perform. But LSU? These kids are coming here to represent our school. And that's enough for me.

People on this board talk about demanding more than mediocrity but what coach are you going to convince to come here when our own fans won't even support the team? Yeah, great selling tool. Hey, come to LSU, where if you win, the fans may show up. fricking pathetic.

Funny Tiger Authority was on the Rant yesterday too during the game, yet he calls out every fan who disagrees with his assessment of the program. I'm like Patins duck; I don't give a good quack.

I don't think that's a fair statement. He was asked a question and answered. What is he supposed to say? "Yeah, it was really inspirational to play for the 200 fans that came out here today"

If they hadn't dropped 3 games in a row, in embarrassing fashion, right before the tournament, I'd have considered it.

Let me get this off my chest first. This is gay as shite. We would never be friends in real life.

Read my first post. I never intimated that I attended the game yesterday. This is a general statement about overall fan support and reading everyone on this thread talking about requiring winning to support LSU. frick off.

100% agree with TigerAuthority. I live in Florida and only wish that I could attend any LSU sporting event to support the school regardless of their record. Totally understandable yesterday that many people had to work, but don't bash these kids for wanting support from our fanbase. We have an extremely young team an they laid it all on the line yesterday. I'm proud of them and wish I could be there to support them. I've been skeptical of TJ, but the bottom line is that LSU fans should support this team.

Well we agree on something. I'm an a-hole. You're a fair weather LSU fan. We're square. I'm a prick and you just suck.

Agree entirely with you. I realize I'm an a-hole, but you managed to nail it while maintaining a nice decorum. Well done.

But it's OK for MR LSU Sports Authority to tell some one to frick off and not expect a derogatory response? You are a pompous a-hole boy.

It's pretty funny watching posters get bent out of shape when you call them fair weather fans...then proceed to argue that if LSU won more they would support the team more.

Yeah I know. It's why I call them self-proclaimed fair weather fans. They're too stupid to realize it though.
