I like the Jericho music but holy frick..... Mett has some serious pressure on him next year. I'm starting to fear this fanbase is going to eat him alive.

A bit over the top. We need a video of the end of the BCS game with somber music and their heads down. Then, we need to see them working, lifting weights, hitting in practice as the music builds. Then move it to Death Valley on a Saturday night with the crowd cheering and the team running out - a video to show that the team is hungry and moving on with enthusiasm.
We don't need to see a Spring Game pass from Mett. He is not the savior. This team is too good and hopefully, will be really hungry. He just has to be average.
It should be about team.

At it's core this is true but I think we're about to see how deficient we really were at the QB position the past 4 years.

I wonder if any fan base has ever been so excited over losing its Senior starting quarterback and turning the reins over to a Sophmore/Junior (underclassman)?
Most fans freak out over that kind of stuff, but here at LSU, we rejoice!

We run the ball down their throats, yet when we really need our QB to make good decisions (which wasn't very often) he couldn't do it. It showed in his NFL combine scores.
Mett is not gonna save us, the team will save themselves. However, having an accurate cannon taking snaps from T-Bob sure will help our cause. Two years of Mett, then Rivers is waiting anxiously behind him. I never thought the day would come where we wouldn't have to ask "Who should we start at QB today?" But it's here, and Mettenberger will step up and ride the fire. Spring training begins!

Rantard: That video doesn't get me excited because when I went to juilliard they taught me that if you lose a game you have to have unending sadness followed by hard work instead of hype. HAS NO ONE SEEN REMEMBER THE TITANS!?!?! Think of the children!

No. He hasn't done anything yet to make a hype video out of him. It is ridiculous. You have to pull a clip of him in the Spring Game throwing a bomb against a walkon DB. And, you have to show his one TD against a rent-a-win twice.
I am not saying that Mett won't be awesome. I am saying that we have the #1 team in the country because of how awesome this TEAM is going to be. We aren't some second rate team with a 5 star freshman QB coming in that we are all excited will pull us out of the doldrums. At this point, a hype video should be about the team coming together and getting ready to destroy all competition. Sure, Mett is a part of that, but he isn't the savior.

Let me know when you wrap up your video. I'm sure it will have the appropriate clips against top competition and show them lifting weights and big hits--like every other video anyone has ever seen ... ever. Also, saying you don't have to hype up someone who has yet to do anything is completely illogical. What do companies hire ad agencies to hype? Obviously established products that are well-known.
