First time in forever LSU is not sponsored or "powered by" Easton.

Bad move in my opinion. I'm sure Coach Mainieri is concerned with my opinion.

Are we using them exclusively or are we also using marucci?

Not sure if they are using marucci bc the NCAA is leery of them using it since he works for LSU. May be different now since I been there.

LSU is a Demarini/Wilson team now. Big step up with gloves, linear with bats.

I know when I was in high school I much preferred Demarini over Easton. I don't know about these new bats though

Not really a step up with the gloves. In the previous years the pitchers were the only guys that had to use Easton gloves. The rest of the team was also sponsored by Rawlings.

A2000 is the best glove on the market

Rawlings Primo is the best glove on the market.

ETA: I own 2 A2000s and love them. Still the Primo is ridiculous.

Still have my A2000 that I got in '76. Wish I still had my Pete Rose 33...

The Easton bats were crappy. LSU wasn't the only school that complained about them.

Speaking of bats, saw this from Kendall Rogers on Twitter.

Interesting. #NCAA sent out a memo banning the new Marucci Cat5 bats, effectively immediately. Memo didn't go into details, just stated.
The memo adds that if a team is caught using one of those bats, they'll be placed under the rule of using an illegal bat. Very bizarre deal

Marucci white Cat 5 or Black? I know a travel team that swings the black exclusively.

A2000 is a good glove, but for middle infielders Kelly gloves are the best.
