"It was a very disappointing time when that happened, but it was kind of a mixture of emotions, because our team was playing really well at the end of the year. We were 12-3 in our last 15 games."

I am not one of those over realistic fans, but LSU should NEVER miss the NCAA in baseball. Ever.

Just curious, what's the lowest lsu has ever been ranked at the start of one its national championship seasons? Is it unrealistic to think this team can possibly win it all this year?

They've been ranked a little lower than this before, 96 I think, and still won it

They may have been ranked lower and won it. But let's wait until we get into SEC play to decide. The first month of the season will make us look like #1. We really wont know much about this team until SEC play.
