I don't know man; lots of CGI there. Burton is directing; does Johnny Depp play Lincoln?

That Johnny Cash song is getting stale.

I'm pumped about this movie, it just looks damn fun. Bekmambetov is super stylized, seems perfect for this.

I know some of this movie was shot here on the north shore in COvington. The crew was filming on Old Military Road last year.

I am so pumped. Been waiting on the trailer for a while now.

I was in those scenes they filmed on the northshore. That's where they filmed all the Civil War battle scenes.

If you haven't read the book, you should give it a look. It's a very quick read. I knocked it out in a weekend and I don't read books too often.

Timur Bekmambetov is directing. Burton is just a producer.

My 10 yr old stepson did a book report on the novel. He got an A. I picked the book up a couple years back.

I might be included in the movie as an extra in the scene in Audubon Park.

if you pause the trailer on the part where it looks like he's about to give a speech or something; behind him there are what looks to be generals or political figures sitting and my friend is the one with the long grey beard. well, there's 2, he's the one on the right.

The book is really good! I highly recommend it to anyone who may be interested in history and, of course, vampires.

I was very interested in seeing how they would turn it into a movie. From watching the trailer, it looks like they went for the over the top action, too much CGI route. I am pretty disappointed with that...
