i hope this kid does not put all his eggs in one basket. He better be checking out other schools. Not saying he won't get offered, but I wouldn't bet the house on it

That's kinda what I was thinking I know he'd jump at the chance if offered. Hopefully he plays too well his senior season for them not to offer

Played against him twice, kids a good athlete on a terrible, terrible team. The fact that he had all those rushing yards is insane to me

I think he picked us off both times I played him but got shut down on offense both times (also last year vs Central but i wasnt on the team then)

yes.. as long as LSU sees him and his coach practicly begging for an offer they will drag him along for the ride... GO explore other options and if the LSU thing shakes out then go for it.

This. He is a pretty good baseball player also. Too much speed to pick off base.

I'm pretty sure he'll get offered eventually. Not a guarantee of course but he's too good an athlete and brings versatility to the class with his ability to play multiple spots

Also if not mistaken Diggs is one of his coaches and would be the best person to ask about Perkins strengths and weaknesses as a prospect.

Does Landon Collins come to mind? Doesn't always happen. If we want him and he bleeds purple and gold;then,I hope we get him.If not,let him go elsewhere.

How doe she compare to Kaleb Blanchard the RB from Denham? I know he was hurt most of his junior year. Any word on him?

His point wasnt that Wilson can get anyone he wants. He was saying the kid wantsto go to LSU and if Frank wants him, he can get him

Hes a good back but gets hurt every week he plays it seems. That might scare LSU off of him. Perkins would probably be best on defense and the talent level they played with is so different, they are hard to compare

True it doesn't always happen, but considering that Perkins goes to a school that Wilson used to coach.. Im sure he's been I'm the kid's ear before any other SEC school even knew his name

LSU supposedly wants to see him in camp. This is where guys like Cooper love to make their major evaluations against other top tier competition.

I guess I'd be the coach who is begging huh blazer? If he didn't get an early offer I think his chances of an offer will drop dramatically due to the numbers. By summer time they could have 11 or 12 and might only take 20 due to lack of scholarships. I truly believe he can play there, the staff wants to see him at camp and he's prepared to work hard and earn the offer. What coach wouldn't push their kid as hard as they can if they knew they could play there?
