Woods is a really underrated player, I think he's the best cover corner in the state. I highly doubt he's faster than Rickey Jefferson or Tredavious White and especially not faster than Jeryl Brazil. Really good player, his stock will soar during the camp circuit....

Rankings are a joke on most of the .coms sites, they have regional guys do the state rankings in their area. Most regional guys only come to Louisiana for the state championship games and LSU camps. 247 is different, Barton Simmons is in Louisiana as I type this he came by the school I coach at ye...

Brazeley can fly pure speed, he's faster on the grass than the track...football speed. Perkins is more than likely not gonna get offered by LSU and if he does it will be at safety. ...

Xavier Woods is the best cover corner in the state in my opinion. He doesn't have elite speed but he tracks the ball great and breaks on the ball just as good. He is a little bit more athletic than Ellis and definitely bigger. Couldn't go wrong with either I prefer Woods. ...

I think he can play running back at a few BCS schools but is built better for the secondary. I have spoke to some scouts and they believe he can play receiver and return kicks as well. ...
