gumpers can't get 4 of the top 7 recruits in it's own state, including it's top three.

the difference is they are ranked #1 by a wide margin and we aren't even top 10.

This is a terrible argument for numerous reasons. First and foremost, Alabama has the consensus number one class in the nation. Is there any site which doesn't have Bama number one right now? If LSU replaced the top three in-state recruits with more highly prized national recruits, I wouldn't be concerned. That didn't happen.

and promptly went out and replaced them w/ the top players from other states

These star rankings are done by persons several states away that probably have never seen these athletes in person. LSU's signees have been evaluated first hand by our coaches. That's why we have 3 star athletes as first round NFL draft choices a few years later.

They don't need the top players in Alabama. They can get the top players from the USA as a whole...
