Ate at Five Guys Burgers a few months ago.

Wasn't impressed. Taste like wendys. Twice the price.
The service is good. But who cares at a cheap burger place.

It is nothing to write home about. I do think its better than Wendys tho.

Actually I just started reading the FD board a couple weeks ago.
I haven't been i'n the US i'n about 5 months. And Five Brothers was one of the last things I ate. I guess the Daytona thread reminded me, because that's where I ate .

I went yesterday to the BR location(fifth trip). Have been to ones in Atl, Nashville, Houston, BR,etc..the quality really can vary depending upon the location, the line cooks, and the amount of folks in-store at said time.
That said, I went to Matherne's on Highland last week, got a cheeseburger for the first time in about a year, have always been a fan. At $2.75 ala carte, and $4.25 with fries box, it is as good a burger and fries as Five Guys and Dearmans, at a much cheaper price.

I don't mind paying 10 bucks for a meal at 5 Guys, but I also lost on the OT a good bit.

i dont care for burgers at all (dont know why) but i think 5 guys is MUCH better than fast food (judging by the 3 times i have been)

5 guys is the best fast food burger I've ever had by far.....still not worth the money though, cause I can go to a restaurant and get a better burger for a similar price.
I went to In n Out burger the other month for the first time and was completely disappointed to say the least. I realize it's just fast food, but after everything I've heard, it wasn't even better than Wendy's, McDonald's, Checkers, etc.

I'm a pretty big five guys fan but like others have said they vary greatly by location. The on in st aug was great and the one here in palm beach gardens not so much.
In and out is great when you're in a hurry but not deserving of the cult like following.

In N' Out > Backyard Burger > Whataburger > Five Guys IMHO as someone who eats each maybe once a year.

I like Five Guys from time to time but the way they advertise the farmer they buy the potatoes from creeps me out so I quit going.
