I have eaten there probably 30 times. It is not great, but it is pretty good for the price. Certainly as good as any place on the Island at that price point. Their steamed seafood and oysters are good. They have SweetWater beers on tap. Super casual and they have a playground area to occupy little kids if you are still in that stage of life.

Hemingway's has better food but it is way more expensive.

It's better than most beach food. Compared to similar places along the coast, very beach casual with basic burgers, sandwiches, and simple seafood dishes, it's decent.

IMO, that place on Navarre Beach that used to be Cocodrie, now Monkey somthin-or-other (same owner) is better food and less crowded.

Comparing other casual places in Pensacola Beach, it beats the shite out of Flounder's and Crabs.

+1

It is our go to place when we stay down the road at White Sands. It does tend to get crowded but they move people through pretty quick. Parking is scarce for the business they do. Always good cold beer and solid fried shrimp .

No, but there are aircraft inspired doors.

They also have a sign at the door that reads :

"Unruly children will be cooked and eaten."

You are correct. This is a good order. Order it grilled, not fried.

If you don't go early, you will have no place to park, and an hour and a half wait. It's not worth the wait. Food is decent but a little meh.

Sidelines is owned by the same outfit and has very good wings and an awesome fish sandwich that I have to get at least twice when I stay in Pensacola. Very reasonably priced entrees that are very similar to Peg's menu. I pick it over Peg.

I like Flouders a lot, the stuff flounder for sure. Go for brunch on Sunday and get the all you can drink champagne. It's cheap swill but I promise you will have one of the best times on the beach afterward, if you don't puke your guts up.

Peg Leg's is a solid place to eat. It does get busy but great oysters and grouper sandwich like stated before. It is always a place I hit up while in P-Cola Beach.

And I agree about the Flounders brunch on Sunday. Good brunch menu and bottomless champagne. I'd check this out as well.

Been there once. Had the grouper nugget basket off the lunch menu. Wasn't bad. Place seemed pretty solid overall.
