Figured it would be prudent to start this. Not a flame either, I'm interested in who they will get.

I don't think they'll go with someone who runs a 3-4. though they probably wouldn't have to rebuild that much. They've got 3-4 ends and nose guards already on the roster. I don't think they have the linebackers, though.

Spags would be the best hire they could make.

Anyone who can stop a fricking offense from going 85 yards in 4 fricking plays. We need a good defense to match the offense. The 49ers have been shite for 8 years on defense and suddenly they are the best defense in the league. Get that motherfricker if necessary. Oh wait, we had him during the best Saints defense of all time.

Gregg Williams needs to go. Thanks for the title in 09, but that was horrible tonight.

I'm surprised that his old boss Andy Reid hasn't scooped up in Philly yet. Their defense was a disaster this year despite having a lot of talent. That's what happens when you promote an o-line coach to defensive coordinator.

Williams is one of the best d coordinators in the league. He just coaches under a pass happy head coach which usually doesn't bode well for the defense, and has no talent on that defense. They might just have the worst front seven in football, their safeties are glorified linebackers, and their nickel back is their best corner.

Malcolm Jenkins is just waiting to become an All-Pro. I've heard it for the past 2 years. As soon as the voters wise up and see that someone who makes zero INTs and misses 75% of his open field tackles is an all-pro then he's in there.
