Do you have to get one of these if you are going to ride around and check out a WMA in Louisiana? Thanks, and good luck in the woods!

at the rifle range at Sherburne you fill it out when you enter the range. I have never seen any stations where you can just stop and fill out the permit.

350 dollar chance. If you are on thier property you need one.

You're gonna need to have the bottom half on your person filled out, explaining what you're doing there as well.

Who really does this? I do if I shoot something, so the records can be kept. Try to the rest of the time also. But a lot of the times I just head on out. You can keep the card for 72 hours. Sometimes I plan to hunt later but do not go. Hell if I drive out there to just put the paper in the box.
I doubt they read all the cards. I think it is about trying to catch people with them so they can hit you up with 350 bucks.

Well, I've never been busted without one.
Don't know the deal with checking out, other than that they want you to do it.
Plus, they can ban you from WMA's. I don't hunt them anymore, but if I did I wouldn't chance it.
