Have you seen any new Alabama fans this week?

I've seen a few people at work wearing Alabama hats and shirts and saying "roll tide" when they have never shown any signs of being Alabama fans before now. Of course, it's the same contrarian, shite stirring people who "HATE" LSU even though they were born and raised in Louisiana.

When I lived on the MS coast, it was horrible. They are fans of whichever team is winning. One year it is LSU, next year UF, next year Bama. They have no CFB identity there. It was annoying as hell. 
I do not miss that place at all.

I happy to say that I haven't. I'm in Michigan and one of my admin's is a Tide fan (from AL). I've had more than a dozen people come in to give their condolences but none acknowledge her new flag.

It's usually the people that were too dumb to get into LSU so they have penis envy. They hate everything LSU. If the School of Sucking Dick won, they'd buy the shirt.

I grew up on the coast. It is THE WORST BANDWAGON area of the country, I am almost sure of it.
I literally hate going home sometimes because of it. Everyone back home knows I went to LSU. I hate the LSU posers talking to me about how much they "love" it, and I hate the people that went to South Alabama in Mobile and tell me "Roll Tide" or whatever nonsense. This past year, Auburn crap came out of no where on everybody's jacked up truck.
I really, really really hate it.

People can be fans of whoever they want.
Just because you went to school somewhere doesn't mean you can't be a fan of another school.

You stole Auburn's main rant. They've always acted like they are better because the only Auburn fans there are went to school there but Bama has all the toothless trailer folks. Well, I for one am happy to have them all. Winning is attractive to all classes. Maybe if LSU wins the NC next year you can pick up a few toothless trailer folks too.
