Would Brockers going top 10 alleviate the hurt of him leaving?

Just heard someone on the Dan Patrick Show say that he's the best early entry to announce yesterday, the best D-Lineman in the draft, and a better NFL prospect than Trent Richardson. Read another article somewhere else that indicated he was garnering excitement among NFL Scouts.

I know many here are taking his early entry as a negative referendum on our program and the coaching staff. If he gets taken that highly, does his early move now become a positive as it's another feather in LSU's cap as an NFL factory and "D-Line U"?

Thank you for being positive. I think you have a good point (if he ends up being drafted in the top 20 or so). He's not a better prospect than Trent though.

I don't think we're going to be as hurt as some think. All this does is get Freak in the lineup.

It won't hurt at all because M. Brockers is a top 20 pick............

Any who have qualms with him leaving are dumb and uninformed.

I feel pretty confident he will go top 10. If not, it will be very close. He's making the right decision IMO. Don't fault the kid one bit.

I think it sucks he left after only two years of playing, but if he's been told he can go that high, who am I to argue. Im happy for his success, but for my own selfish reasons I wanted to see him blow people up for another year.

Remembering Dorsey's injury alleviates my qualms. I'm just selfish and wanted to see him I'm P&G another year.

I think you're retarded.

Freak is just not as good as Brockers. He's just not. Deosn't have the size. He might have more sacks and/or TOFs, but he won't ever be the monster that Brockers was. Brockers might have been the most important part of the defense this year and for whatever reason (i.e. we have unsophisticated fans), few people really appreciates what he did.

But I've said all along Brockers will go top 10-15. He's the real freak. And others suggested he would go 3rd-4th round.

Good luck to Brockers. He will be a worthy 1st round draft pick. Logan and Freak will be the best interior D-line in the country next season, so LSU will be fine.

I honestly felt like he was good enough to go 10-15, but until this morning I had no idea that national guys shared that opinion. I'm really excited to hear how highly some think of him. The guy on Dan Patrick compared him to Suh. Not sure who it was because I just listened briefly.

I just never thought he was the best DT prospect in america. I'll be shocked if he goes top 10. Hope he does though

Woah, I don't know about all that, but he's 6'6" 300+ and young with plenty of room on his frame to grow. That's special. I knew that once he declared people would "discover" him. I just hoped it was gonna be next year.

My favorite player

Been saying this all year, but I don't think he goes nearly that high.

If he falls out the 1st, someone will be getting an absolute steal.

Elite D-Lineman are vastly more important to NFL teams than Elite RB's.

The NFL is a passing league and RB's just do not hold the same value they used to.

Mike Detelier stated, last night, that he is the best defensive lineman in the draft, not just tackle, but lineman. Predicted a top ten pick.

McShay said he's the most underrated underclassman coming out this year and is the best DT. He'll be a 1st Rounder.

Dude is a badass and needs to feed his extended family. I never took his leaving as a slight on our program unlike the chicken little retards around us.
