I think the Saints are vulnerable. I can't get that damn Seattle image out of my head. I am 50/50 on the Saints chances for winning. Our guys have a lot to prove Saturday in SF, but

Alex Smith sacked 44 times this season

Frank Gore avgs 75yds a game. How'd we handle top RBs? Matt Forte: 49 rushing yards in week 2. 44 yards below his average. Maurice Jones-Drew (the league's leading rusher): 84 yards in week 4. Chris Johnson: 23 yards in week 14. Adrian Peterson: 60 yards in week 15. Michael Turner: 39 yards in week 16. The Saints have held opponents to fewer than 100 yards rushing in 6 of 9 games since their last loss.

Defense? We handled Houston okay and they were better (#2 D). I actually think Jacksonville is the closest team like the Niners we have played. #6 defense (SF #4) & dependent on a successful run game. Alex Smith was Blaine Gabbert until this year. He's still not very good, just learned to not make as many blunders.

The thing that bothers me more than stats is its away game..This years team goes flat without the dome behind them

They're not.

49ers have very limited offensive power. They'll keep it close for a half, but the Saints will break it open and win buy two TD's at least.

Not always flat, but shaky at the very least. In the 5 road wins the Saints only dominated Minnesota. Had to hang on against the Titans, Jacksonville, Atlanta was a thrill ride and had a last minute TD at Carolina. I just want an ugly win at SF.....

I think they're the most dangerous team in the NFL.

They can't either. At least not until they win another Super Bowl.

Riiiiight, because every 2010 team is the same in 2011. What was SF's record again last year? Damn, they are screwed in this game. Good thing last year determines this year's success!

Fair enough, but our boys are gonna have to prove they have the toughness to win on the road in the playoffs. I think they are....but they gotta prove me right.

Did anybody hear fat albert say S.F. will water the field down to make it slower?

Pretty sad they can't just play football.

But they are still on the road vs an NFC West team regardless of what round. I am still 50/50 on the Saints chances.
