I have never been a big Les Miles fan, but I have to admit he must be a pretty good coach to have the success that he is bringing to LSU. We found out that pretty good won't beat Saban and the Tide consistently. The playcalling sucked big time. The adjustments never came. Looking back on the game all I remember is Jefferson running around with the ball and no advancement down field. Why didn't we throw down field? They did. Why didn't Jefferson's legs get us a few first downs? Their QB's did. Why couldn't our offense get moving? Their's did! Was November 5th a fluke? The coaching staff failed to have this team prepared in my opinion.
Yes, thanks for the 13 wins, but this was the most important! And thanks for showing the world that you gave up, threw in the towel, conceded, and decided to stay with the qb who would be able to dance around in the backfield for the rest of the game. My love for LSU makes it easier to cope with my disappointment in you.
I don't care what any of you have to say about this rant- it is what it is and I'm entitled to it just as you are to put in your two cents.

Has anything beat Bama consistently? Or LSU for that matter??

The playcalling sucked big time

The playcalling or the playmaking?

Why didn't Jefferson's legs get us a few first downs? Their QB's did.

4 rushes for 11 yds. Hes the next TEBOW!

Yes, thanks for the 13 wins, but

But nothing! Some programs dont combine for 13 wins in back to back seasons.

My love for LSU

In question

Jefferson was sacked or forced to run when we tried to throw down field. Better O-line and better QB is what we needed to beat bama.

C'mon don't hang this on the OL. You may not agree with the OP, but you know as well as all of us do that Jefferson was sacked or forced/opted to run because he is a terribly slow decision maker on a pass play and can't pick out open receivers. In a high-pressure situation like Monday was, he was the worst choice to be under center. Quick release Mett or Lee would have forced the defense to adjust and may well have opened up the run, thus also opening up time for long, vertical plays.
