The biggest nega tigers don't remember the 90s and they probably haven't been to many games.

Well he's also got a whole corporate apparatus supporting him right now. It's not easy to separate the two.

No. Some piece of shite that happens to be coaching our team right now is not gonna cause me to not be an LSU fan. I can be an LSU fan and consider the coach scum. I'm fine with that.

So coaching LSU to a 13-1 record, being the national coach of the year, going to the national championship game and winning the SEC qualifies Les Miles as scum??

Good logic chief

I'm not a nega tiger, but I expect someone to be responsible and take blame for the debacle. I go back to the 70's under Charlie Mac. There are some similarities in many coaches.
1) No one out side of their program knows anything about football
2) Stubbornness

We're not negative about LSU or Miles, we just want to know what the hell happened and why didn't they at least TRY something different.

Having a good(or bad) record as a coach is not an indication of character.

What Miles did with JL most certainly IS a measure of character. The blinds were pulled and the window was opened.

Unlike many in here, I still think that by the things you'd measure a coach in college, Miles is a very good college coach.

He's also a man with proven low character.

It's always easy to identify the bandwagon fans who only want to be a part of LSU when they're winning. Lose and they're ready to tear down the program at all cost.

This site is full of them.

That has to be the most idiotic thing I have ever heard.

I think that JL should have gotten a chance to play in the game as well but to question Les Miles character because of it is completely off base..

It wasn't proven in ONE game.

Hell, the SECCG game was an even more egregious example.

You don't treat people who have stuck with you like that. You just don't.

Until we know WHY Les did what he did with Lee, NO ONE here can say if Les was right or wrong. There are two sides to everything.

I haven't chimed in on any of the threads since Monday night, whether they were negative or positive. But the people arguing that Miles doesn't deserve criticism for that game on Monday are just ignorant. Should he be fired? Hell no and that's not even what I've been reading here (although some posters seem to think some fans feel that way), I just don't see it. The main argument is why give up mid-way through the 3rd in the last and biggest game that you can possibly play for in a season? It's the game that every team in the country tries to reach every single season. JJ was not getting it done, period. The offensive game plan was not getting it done, period. So why not put JL in there and try to air it out and get some points on the board when you were down 15-0? The game was easily still in reach and very winnable. Would JL have gotten it done? Who the hell knows, but at least fricking try, they didn't even try anything. That's unacceptable IMO.

Negatigers have lead to the success of LSU football. Otherwise we might still have Dinardeaux.

Here's the deal. ANYTHING that JL could've done that would be bad enough to warrant the giant shite Miles took on him SHOULD have gotten him kicked off the team. It didn't. I view that as circumstantial evidence number 1.

Number 2, several players said they were SURPRISED JL didn't play. Seems to me that anything bad enough to warrant that giant shite would be so bad that the players would NOT be "surprised" JL didn't play.

I think 1&2 are pretty solid evidence that the reason we haven't heard an explanation from Miles is cause any "explanation" would be one that was generally viewed as shite.
