Funny how, just like in the Crowton days, we frequently barely got the ball snapped before the playclock hit zero. What's up with that? It looked like that was never an issue earlier in the year.

All TRUE Tiger fans use Perrilloux and Crowton as scapegoats for everything. Get on board!!

OK, so we were dazed and confused again. I've got it! Let's blame Billy G-he's out the door. Strangely, I don't remember all those hiccups (false starts, delays, confusion) at the beginning of this season?

But we didn't have any delay of game penalties, so who cares about "barely"?

Maybe we should play matching. So which one is dazed and which is confused (LM and JJ)? SO hard to remember which is which.

The team was just ill-prepared all around. The run defense was the lone bright spot in the game IMHO. Maybe it's just me, but with all the postseason awards and hoopla surrounding the Heisman invite, Coach of the Year etc. it just seems like the team never really set their minds to the task at hand. I don't know when you constantly hear how great you are maybe motivation is hard to come by.

I'm just implying that we never had to worry about a delay of game penalty with Lee. I can think of several instances were everyone around me watching the game was saying "they're not even gonna get the ball off in time". Offense looked fine earlier in the year

The hurry up offense that we tried looked very awkward too.

This +10000

JJ of all people was quoted thinking about LSU being the greatest team ever. All of the players have been distracted by this stuff and youth or immaturity came to the forefront. All this stuff was motivation for Alabama, but a distraction for LSU. They simply lost focus and I don't even believe the defense as well as they played were completely focused. They just did what they normally do which is great defense, but also didn't take it to another level. I still think there is another level with this team and we may see it next year with more skill at the QB position. I hope the players that are rumored to be mad at JJ or invested in the JJ vs. JL saga realize neither will be here next year and it can be a new beginning.
