Don't wear the white jerseys with black pants. Plz go with the gold pants coach Payton.

I remember wearing black pants in the NFC Championship loss at Chicago, but were we wearing black pants in the Seattle game too? I've kind of blocked alot of the game out of my memory so it's hard to recall.

The key to victory is to score more points than the 49'ers.

It's what John Madden would say.

a fast start is honestly the biggest key...if we come out hot we can out distance them...the longer they keep it close/don't have to abandon the run the more the game plays in the niners favor

Stop Aldon Smith and make sure Justin Smith, Ray McDonald, and the other defensive lineman don't hold up a lineman or two from getting out to the second level to block Patrick Willis or Navarro Bowman.

It's turnovers. If the saints don't turn the ball over nobody can beat them except maybe the packers.

But in all seriousness,
Black/black > white/gold > white/black

If the Saints take a 10-point lead at any point, I think it's over. Redzone offense and defense will be at a premium because these two teams lead the NFC in TOP, meaning fewer possessions. I hope Kasey gets ZERO FG attempts while Akers furthers his NFL record.

If we keep chipping the defensive ends with graham and sproles/thomas I think we will be fine.

We need to run the football. That's the key... Their run D is good, but I believe we are the highest ranked rush O they have played yet. If we can run the ball effectively, then we will control the game

I was literally thinking the same thing. I bet he goes with black because of the Niners having similar colored pants

My fear also. I'm not usually superstitious but about those unis I am. We just always seem to play uncharacteristically when in those unis. Plus it doesnt hurt to mention that the last two times we lost in the playoffs we were wearing them. Also the white/gold are some of the best looking unis in the NFL IMO.

The key is pass protection. I've been telling my friend for a while that if we can block'em we can beat'em. Even if they run on us, Gore ain't worth 28-31 points. Drew Brees is. Also, if we commit 8 in the box and let Alex Smith beat us the way Gus Ferrotte(sp) beat is in 08 when we held AP to around 32 yards, we should lose. Double Vernon Davis and let Greer handle Crabtree. Not sure of who else they have.

Saints could wear pink and still win as long as they do NOT turn the ball over. That is it.

Use the option route with Sproles in the redzone to break Willis' ankles just like Reggie did last year.

Neutralize their front 7 by forcing them to play nickle or dime and then run Sproles at a 6 man front.

Don't show your hand for Alex Smith to check into a run away from the blitz.

If we put up 30+ points we win. The niners are 16th in stopping the pass. We should be fine if we keep em off of Drew.
