They kept saying Bama's team had a "no non-sense" persona. I think that translates into "tight." What do you think? Who has the most pressure, LSU or Bama?

Just my opinion but the pressure is on LSU more than Bama. LSU is protecting a perfect record while Bama is lucky just to be there.

That said, because of coaching styles Bama comes into the game tighter.

No one can put pressure on someone else. You can only set up a situation for that person/team to put pressure on themselves.

The only person, in my opinon, who has pressure on him is Nick Saban. And that will only exist in a situation where he has to decide between a 45 yard FG and a pooch punt that may only net 15 yards. The players will not pressure themselves. Both teams will be loose. Coaching decisions is where the pressure is at.

I think the pressure is on Bama for all of the "we're gooder", "we beat ourselves", "restore order" smack talk.

Who has more to lose? LSU has the perfect record, #1 ranking, has already beat Bama. Bama is just happy to be in the game. If they lose, no biggy, LSU had already beaten them once at home. LSU definitely has more pressure.

I think Bama has more to lose. Saban can't fathom being beat by CLM 3 times in a row and 2 in the same year.

The worst that can happen to LSU is a split series and possible split NC. The BEST Bama can hope for is the same. We really don't have alot to lose.

They both are playing for the BCS trophy so they both have that pressure.

I would think LSU should be looser because they have less to prove. They already beat everyone on their schedule.

Past games aren't relevant IMHO

This is the final game

If feels like LSU is trying to hold on to the trophy, while Bama is trying to steal it...based on how teams enter the game

13-0 vs 11-1

The last time a team played LSU for the BCSNC with a "No-nonsense persona" they got their butts kicked by half-time.

Just saying.

Bama is expected to win by Vegas and all the ESPN goobers so they have the most pressure. Not to mention the pressure Saban has put on his players.

LSU is playing a near-home game for a ballers coach who won't overbear on them with useless controlling crap

Both teams have taken on the personalities of their Head Coach. Bama is anal retentive and uptight. LSU is relaxed, loose and slightly crazy.

I was thinking the same things... these guys are tight... and if LSU gets the first big break..... they are going to wound even tighter.... on the other hand, LSU has survived being down now in two big recent games and I think they will be able to play thru the early emotional surges.... I also think the longer the game remains close, the better our chances due to depth..... vis a vis the first game....

Nick Saban has that team wound up so tight they're going to fail.

Every one of them talk about how they made the mistakes and beat themselves, that LSU didn't win the game, they lost it.

They'll be so afraid to make a mistake that they're going to make plenty.

LSU will come out loose and play their game.

LSU 30 (at least one D/ST score)
Bama 13
