His maturity level has always been one of the things I questioned the most.

After his comments about JR and Vince Young, I hope nothing but the worst for that kid. Absolutely no sense of taking ownership of his own doings.
When JR shows more class and ownership of his faults and mistakes publicly than you do after you use him to scapegoat your own mistakes, you show what a POS human being you are.

I don't know who I hate more: Roger Goodell for making these sissy rules or Cam Newton for attacking defenders like a fullback, yet screaming for protection as a QB (and drawing a flag damn near every time he gets touched).

I like him a lot too. And this thread is nothing more than wishful thinking. Will he have bumbs in the road of his 12-15 year career? Of course. But there's nothing to indicate there is some sort of epic fail awaiting him.

I don't dislike him, but his ego is too large. He s done nothing in the league by any tangible measurements. The qb s in this league that have been successful to any degree with any amount of longevity, have all been leaders of men. Generals. Commanding their respect.

He shouldnt have said it, but he was right. He has surpassed expectations and I think hes going to have a good career. I thought he was going to be a bust.
