For the first time since Miles has been here,he has a top hs qb coming to lsu.Last years class was just average, meaning the qb's. He now has a stud.

You said this in the OP, not what has the QB accomplished in 4 years at LSU. Also RP did lead us to a win over Tenn. in the 2007 SEC Champ Game.

Les has signed plenty of QBs. It's just that we haven't signed a really, really good one that managed to stay on the team.
2005 - Ryan Perriloux - (5 Star) kicked off team
2006 - None
2007 - Jarrett Lee - (4 Star)
2008 - Jordan Jefferson - (3/4 Star)
2009 - Chris Garrett - (3/4 Star) No longer on team
2010 - Zach Lee - (4 Star) Pro Baseball - not on team
2011 - Zach Mettenberger (4 Star) JC Transfer
2011 - J. Randall (4 Star) Redshirted this yr
2011 - S. Rivers (3 Star) Redshirted this yr
2012 - Gunner Kiel (5 Star) Early Enrollee
I'll also say this - The future looks pretty good at the QB position...IF.. we can keep a couple of these guys on the roster.
