Raise you hands if you saw it on closed circuit TV, at The Dome November 10th, 1982.

Great win that goes on the shelf of best of all time.

That was the 20-10 game? Why would you go watch it at the dome?

The game was not on TV.

There were about 10,000 people watching the game on the big screens in The Dome. Closed circuit like a boxing match.

dang. did not know that about the '82 Bama game. My dad had gotten transferred up to Tulsa, and I was watching whatever ABC game was on at the time just to get score updates on the LSU game. With each update, I would get so pumped that I would run outside and monkey dunk on a "dunk goal" we had in our backyard up there. If I recall correctly, it was a day game in Birmingham (could have been T-Town but I think it was B-ham) so we could not pull in WWL radio like we could for night games.

Wouldn't be born for 9 years. I had no idea they've played in the dome before though.

I saw it at the PMAC as well. Had no idea it was shown at the dome, too.

I do know the PMAC rocked THAT day.

It did indeed Rat. It was the biggest LSU win to date in my young lifetime.

My LSU memories dated back to '73 and we had never beaten Bama in that time, in fact Mac never defeated a team that ended the year ranked in that span so the victories over Florida and Bama that year (Stovall coaching by then) were very special.

The game was at Legion Field, I was there , sat on row 6 or 7, on the 50, right behind the Bama bench, in Bear's final season. We sat right in front of Alan Risher's parents. The angry Gumps kept cursing us out and saluting us as they walked by us on their way out! Memorable....

As was I. Don't remember the time of day, but I do remember it was a beautiful day, clear blue sky, and 55deg. at kickoff. sat in the endzone about half way up. it was great.

We held the Gumps to no first downs in the first half. The crowd started booing every time they showed Bear Bryant on the big screen.
