Have you thought about compliance consulting with a public accounting firm. The firm I work for is always looking.

Are you located here in Baton Rouge?

This. Risk and Compliance is huge part of the Advisory practices at all of the B4.

Plus quite of few CPA local firms doing consulting in Risk and Compliance.
LaPorte, P&N are the ones I can think of quickly.
You have consultants like First National Business Bank (FNBB) and the like also.

Slight hijack: what is the best way to get into Compliance? I've come across jobs in the past and now this thread, and am intrigued
I'm currently in mortgages and support, but would really be open for a change in pace, so to speak

Crowe horwath is the ABA endorsed public accounting firm. Their advisory firm primarily works with financial institutions. They have offices in Atlanta and Dallas, that's the closest to baton rouge.

I imagine the B4 also have this certification, as well...

The Big 4 would love you.
Look into their advisory practices. There is a lot of work availability right now due to Dodd Frank, Volker Rule, FATCA and AML. You might have to relocate, though, if you live in Baton Rouge.
ETA: Actually if you're interested please let me know. I could use a referral bonus.
