TM7 gets a "herbie" award, was TM7 comments condescending? Eric Reid got an award also.
I searched ESPN site:0 results for "the herbie awards: 2011 pre bowl season special"
I saw it Saturday and could not find anything on TD.com cause the search function sux

dang it, sorry, my bad
after recieving the game changer award, TM7 looked disengaged from the show and joked about the award being plastic and commented about throwing over the balcony into the water. I know he's young and he's confident, it just seems that someone would remind him that he represents LSU and to behave accordingly. My 11 year old thought he was being rude, so it's not just me.
i really find it hard to believe there has not been more press on that show on TD.com

It did come from ESPN and Herbie.
So, I can't really blame him for returning some of the disrespect they've been giving LSU all year.

it's a stupid self promoting award. if i were TM7 i could care less about a 'herbie'. I'd put that shite in the trash anyway

Maybe TM is throwing back some of the disrespect his team is getting at ESPN. They do hate LSU after all.

I think the show is kind of meant to be a little funny anyway (watched the first couple of awards before turning it off) - looked like Herbstreet was laughing at himself a little too, so it doesn't sound too bad. The whole thing seemed to be an 'all in good fun' kind of deal....

TM7 was trying to be amusing but it didn't play that way. Herbie may be a number of negative things but he just called TM7 the best football performer of the year and the remark was not warranted IMO.
